For over a century now,
the Kirloskar Group of Companies, one of India's largest industrial
conglomerates, has been growing and learning from it's own
experiences. KIAMS was conceived as a knowledge hub where
Kirloskar Group managers shared their learning amongst themselves.
Realizing, since, the need to open up to
the rest of the industry, the training institute was opened
to managers all over the country in 1995.
The institute continuously evolves new modules/segments
to cater to specific customer requirements with an emphasis
on situational relevance. The result is the development of
case studies deeply rooted in the Indian context, which the
institute uses in addition to the standard cases from foreign
sources.
