It is considered essential that students of the PGDM programme live close to the school, since the course involves intensive time and energy commitments over the two years. Based on the needs of the full time residential programme, the institute has elegantly furnished Executive Style Hostels, which provides all the facilities that any student would require. Separate hostels for gents and ladies are provided within the campus.

The PGDM programme is hard work, but it is highly enjoyable and the students are strongly encouraged to strike the right balance between work and leisure. The PGDM programme encourages exchange of experience and ideas among the students which brings about a lasting network of contacts and friendships. In addition to the usual get-togethers, KIAMS has instituted a management competition, which invites management students from B-schools all over India. Our students also participate in the events organized by other Business Schools.
