Various service sectors include the business consulting services, business &IT services, financing, PC services, infrastructure, on demand services, technical training and technology design services, hotels, airlines, logistics, banks, insurance etc.

We have taken a general approach to all services sectors. In the first section ‘what we feel?’, we talk about what are the different kinds of services, what is the contribution of services to the Indian GDP, what is the current growth rate and what we feel is the competitive advantages of India in comparison to other countries.

In the second section ‘what we think?’ we talk about how the various factors impede the phenomenal success of the services sector and thus how these affect India from becoming the global leader.

In the third part of ‘what we found from our survey?’ we mention some information, which we collected from the members working in the services sector. Information includes what are their company’s competitive advantages, risks of company, improvements required etc.

In the last part of ‘what we suggest?’ we give a few suggestions and improvements to be done with a view to make India a global market leader. We are pretty sure that with a few improvements as suggested India will definitely be in the position of a global leader in services sector.
